Our East Bay community is incredibly fortunate to have nearly 125,000 acres of beautiful parkland and over 1,250 miles of trails in our regional parks system. I have a lifelong commitment to our East Bay Regional Parks dating back to childhood when I served as a Junior Ranger and later as a Day Camp Counselor in Tilden Park.
The experiences I had growing up in our East Bay Regional Parks changed my life. These early experiences gave me a deep love and appreciation for our natural environment, the cultural heritage of our parks, and the animal and plant life that make the Regional Parks their home.
We must preserve the rich, natural and cultural heritage of the East Bay Regional Parks, and provide open space, trails, and healthy recreation and environmental education for a growing population. We must ensure that everyone, especially every child, has access to our parks.
It is an honor to serve you on the Board of Directors. I humbly ask for your support for election so that together we can continue to preserve, protect, and expand our East Bay Regional Parks.
